September 8 2023 — LOS ANGELES, CA — Women in Research (WIRe), a global non-profit organization that champions diversity in the marketing research industry, has announced a shortlist of nominees for this year's MRX Diversity Champion award—presented in partnership with the Insights Association and FUEL + The Focus Room. The award recognizes those making a positive difference in others’ lives and our industry through their significant contributions in the arena of diversity. This year Women in Research received more than 50 entries nominating a total of 30 market research and insights professionals.
The award nominees, in alphabetical order, are:
Submissions for the award opened mid-year and asked for nominees who embody the values of respect, dignity, autonomy and equality. The award judges will now select winners, who will be formally announced at the Insights Association’s Corporate Researchers Conference (CRC) in Chicago this November.
The judging panel includes WIRe Founder, Kristin Luck; Insights Association CEO, Melanie Courtright; WIRe Advisory Board member, former Diversity Champion, and Burke’s VP of Community and Culture, Damon Jones; and WIRe in Color program chair Shazia Ginai.
