Join the WIRe Amsterdam community this October at Booking.com’s beautiful new office. We’ll host a series of lightning talks on the role of creativity in research and explore what best practice looks like in 2024 and beyond. Questions, discussion, and challenges are actively encouraged. Stick around for drinks and networking. Space is limited, invite friends and colleagues to register ASAP. A huge thank you to our sponsors MetrixLab and Booking.com for making this event happen!
Nazanin Tavafchian is a user experience researcher with a background in human-computer interaction. She started her career at Open Social and has been with Booking.com for 2 years. She collaborates with product, design and writing teams to ensure the user's voice is central to the process and integrate user-centric insights into product design and strategy. Nazanin lives in Amsterdam with her partner, and she enjoys traveling, cooking, and unwinding with board games or puzzles.
Natasha is an associate director at MetrixLab for three and a half years. Her career started over 8 years ago in South Africa at Nielsen, where she originates from and where her passion for brand and campaign research found its ground. After spending time on the client side (Danone), she decided it was time to start a new adventure on a different continent. Here she switched back to agency side and joined MetrixLab. Natasha is on point and has a true eagerness to discover new things – which is beneficial in her job. She leads a team of researchers and lives in Amsterdam.
Dagmar is a senior researcher at MetrixLab with an expertise in product innovation research, specialized in the Leisure industry. Graduated in Leisure Studies, she started her career at GfK , after which she joined MetrixLab almost 6 years ago. Dagmar is a great story teller, persistent, very on trend, enthusiastic and loves everything that has to do with entertainment and (cultural) amusement – explaining her study, working experience (Disney, Efteling, Hellendoorn) and choice of holiday destinations. She lives in Breda.
Claire is half-English and half-Dutch having spent her childhood in Brunei before relocating to the Netherlands at the age of 7.
With over 18 years’ experience in Ad Land, she has a wealth of experience across various clients such as EA Games, Unilever, Tele2, Heineken, Amstel, Nike, HP, Allianz Direct, Patreon, Philips DA, Lipton and Nestlé. She even did a brief stint at Footlocker as a Senior Brand Manager, before realising she missed the excitement of agency life too much.
At Ogilvy, Claire leads the VodafoneZiggo business, overseeing a team of 10 Account Managers, Strategists and Creatives and is always on the lookout for insights that can unlock new business opportunities and power amazing creative ideas.
